Which type suits you?
- A convector heats air that circulates around the room. Check wall-mounting options, thermostat controls and scheduling for the chosen model.
- An oil-filled radiator warms up gradually and continues releasing stored heat after switching off. It also produces natural air circulation.
- A fan heater directs warm air towards a chosen area. An infrared heater warms people and surfaces within its range.
Safe placement
Do not cover a heater or dry clothes on it. Follow the manual’s clearances and electrical requirements. Bathroom or outdoor use is acceptable only when explicitly permitted for that model and all installation requirements are met. An IP rating alone does not establish a suitable location.
How much electricity does it use?
A heater operating continuously at 2000 W uses 2 kWh in one hour. Actual consumption depends on how long the heating element runs. A thermostat and schedule help control that time but do not guarantee a particular percentage saving.
