Do not cover a heater or dry clothes on it. Follow the manual’s clearances and electrical requirements. Bathroom or outdoor use is acceptable only when explicitly permitted for that model and all installation requirements are met. An IP rating alone does not establish a suitable location.
A heater operating continuously at 2000 W uses 2 kWh in one hour. Actual consumption depends on how long the heating element runs. A thermostat and schedule help control that time but do not guarantee a particular percentage saving.
