Floor area is only the first filter: ceiling height, external walls, windows and insulation change the power you need. Heating a cold room on its own is a different load from topping up an existing system.
Convectors WCH-500EWW, WCH-600EWW, WCH-600EWB and WCH-600EWG have three power levels of 750/1250/2000 W and a thermostat. The WCH-H1000L, WCH-H1500L and WCH-H2000L series (1000/1500/2000 W) adds wall mounting, a half-power ECO mode, a weekly schedule, an open-window function, frost protection at 7 °C and IP24 protection. Oil-filled radiators WOH-7Y (1500 W), WOH-9Y, WOH-9VB, WOH-9VW (2000 W) and WOH-11Y (2500 W) have a thermostat, castors and tip-over shut-off. Fan heaters WFH-04, WFH-28, WFH-10W and the ceramic WFH-T80B deliver up to 2000 W, WFH-50B 1800 W, WFH-30W and WFH-C25B 1500 W. Infrared heaters WQH-2000B, WQH-2000W, WQH-2010G and WQH-2020 run at up to 1200 W. All fan and infrared heaters also have tip-over protection.
Keep the clearances from the manual, do not dry items on the body and do not use a heater in wet areas unless its protection rating allows it. The bill is set not by maximum power but by hours of actual heating: the thermostat, ECO mode and schedule cut consumption.
A convector for fast heating, wall mounting and a precise thermostat; an oil-filled radiator for long, gentle warmth without air movement.
Up to 2 kWh per hour of continuous heating. With a thermostat the element runs only part of the time, so average consumption is lower.
The WCH-H series is rated IP24 and may be installed in bathroom zone 2 under the wiring regulations with an earthed supply; check the manual for other models.
