How to choose a fan

A fan does not lower the room temperature — it moves air, and the airflow is what feels fresh. So where the flow points and whether curtains or furniture block the grille matters more than a coverage figure.

• A floor stand up to 130 cm tall delivers air above bed or sofa level; a low 48 cm format suits the floor or a stable surface.
• The number of speeds and the timer decide night-time comfort: SF-5045W has a 0.5–7.5 hour timer.
• Oscillation and remote control depend on the model — check the card of the specific product.
• The 43 × 43 cm base of floor models needs clear space; check in advance where the fan will stand.
• 40–50 W means low consumption even when running around the clock.

The WetAir range

SF-5045W and SF-5045B are 40 W floor fans with a remote and a timer up to 7.5 hours, in white and black; SF-5025 and SF-5025W are basic 40 W floor models without a timer rated for up to 30 m². SF-7045W is the most powerful in the group (50 W): four speeds, remote, display, timer up to 9 hours, oscillation and height adjustment of 0.7–1.3 m. SF-1045W and SF-1245W (45 W) are table fans with 10 and 12 inch blades; SF-1045W has a timer up to 120 minutes.

Use and care

Stand the fan on a level surface, do not block the grille and do not aim the flow straight at a person all night — send it across the free part of the room instead. Unplug before cleaning; remove dust from the grille and blades with a soft brush or a dry cloth.
