How to choose a dehumidifier
Capacity in litres per day is measured under standard conditions, so the real drying rate depends on temperature and humidity. To compare models go by the coverage figure: WAD-B25L, for example, is rated for 40 m².
- The condensate tank decides how often you empty it: on WAD-B25L it holds 6.5 l and the unit stops automatically when full.
- Continuous drainage through a hose frees you from emptying the tank — useful in a basement or laundry room.
- A hygrostat lets you set the target humidity (30–80 % on WAD-B25L) and run in automatic mode.
- A 1–24 hour timer, sleep and continuous drying modes — check the product card for each model.
- Power ratings from 185 W on WAD-F12L to 380 W on WAD-B25L are a reference point for consumption; WAD-B20L also has a 24-hour timer and a 4.3 l tank.

Use and care
Leave the clearance the model's manual specifies around the unit (200–400 mm on WetAir dehumidifiers) and do not aim the airflow at heaters. Clean the air-filter mesh regularly; do not wash it in a dishwasher or dry it in the sun. Let the unit stand after transport before switching on, and store it clean and dry.
Frequently asked questions
How many litres a day do I need?
A room or kitchen usually needs 10–12 l a day; for a basement, laundry room or large living room choose 20–25 l a day (WAD-B20L, WAD-B25L). Compare the coverage figure on the product card.
Can I avoid emptying the tank?
Yes, connect the continuous-drain hose if the model provides one and route it to a drain or below the level of the unit.
Why does the dehumidifier stop periodically?
The compressor pauses, and in winter the unit defrosts and restarts automatically. That is normal operation.
