How to choose a dehumidifier for the room

Do not size a dehumidifier from square metres alone. Check the measured starting humidity, room temperature, moisture source and the model's stated extraction conditions, then choose a practical tank or continuous-drain setup.
Describe the moisture load
Laundry drying, a basement, frequent showers or construction moisture create very different loads. Note whether the problem is occasional or continuous.
Read extraction figures in context
Extraction rates are measured under stated temperature and humidity conditions. A cooler or less humid room can yield less water than the headline figure.
Plan water removal and airflow
A tank needs regular emptying. For continuous drainage, route the hose downhill without bends and keep its end out of the water. Leave at least 30 cm of free space around the WAD-B20L and keep its air inlet and outlet unobstructed.

Is floor area enough to choose capacity?
No. It should be considered with starting humidity, temperature, moisture source, air exchange and the model's test conditions.
Why can daily extraction be lower than the specification?
Real rooms may be cooler or less humid than the test condition, and the moisture load changes over time.
Do I need continuous drainage?
It reduces tank emptying, but the WAD-B20L manual says not to leave the operating appliance unattended. Use continuous drainage only while supervised and route the hose safely.
