How to organise air movement in a room
Use fan position and airflow direction to improve comfort without confusing circulation with refrigeration.

Place the fan on a stable surface with both grilles clear. Aim it towards the seating or work area; use oscillation to cover a wider space or a fixed direction for one spot. A fan can improve comfort through airflow, but it does not lower room air temperature as an air conditioner does.

Use a fixed direction at a desk or chair, or oscillation when several people share the room. Adjust the speed and angle for comfort instead of leaving a strong stream aimed continuously at one person.
Use the room layout
Keep space behind and in front of the grille. Position the fan so furniture and curtains do not block the path or enter moving parts.
