What to compare
- Match the model’s recommended coverage to your room. High ceilings and open adjoining spaces increase the volume of air.
- HEPA filters capture particles, not gases. A carbon layer may reduce certain odours, but it does not remove every pollutant or replace ventilation.
- Sleep mode, automatic adjustment and smartphone control are model-dependent. Check the product page, including whether the display lights can be switched off.
- A PM2.5 sensor measures fine particles, not every aspect of air quality.
Filter care
Unplug the appliance before opening its housing. Clean or replace each element only as the manual permits: not every filter is washable. The replacement indicator is a reminder; filter condition and use also matter.
