How it works
From a soft mixture to a finished portion
WFDA-K3SILS supports the food’s shape during drying; the dehydrator itself provides heat and airflow.
The surface holds the mixture
The continuous surface holds purée that would pass through a mesh tray. Level its thickness from edge to centre.
Moisture leaves the exposed surface
Warm air passes over the exposed mixture and carries away moisture. Even thickness helps avoid a wet centre and over-dried edges.
The finished food releases
Peel fruit leather at the stage directed by the recipe; it often releases more easily while still warm. Cool it completely before sealing in packaging.
The resultThe mould or sheet supports the food until release; correct temperature and a doneness check still matter.
The rim holds a juicy mixture
Fill the tray on a level support and leave room below the top edge. The rim helps contain purée, but an overfilled tray can spill when moved.
