Daily use
ECO mode, volume and care
The 80 l tank suits a family of three or four or filling a bath: more hot water in a row, while a full heat-up from cold takes longer than on the 50 l models at the same 1500 W.
For a daily shower use ECO — the heater holds 55 °C, spends less energy keeping the temperature and builds up less scale than at the 75 °C maximum. Set an exact value in 1 °C steps only when you need hotter water.
- The wet element heats the water directly and the magnesium anode protects the tank from corrosion — have it checked during scheduled servicing.
- Never switch the unit on without water in the tank and do not alter the factory safety components.
- During a long absence switch the heater to ECO or turn it off.
