How it works
How heat leaves the room
WPAC-M09K removes heat at a rated cooling capacity of 2.6 kW, returning cooled air to the room.
Room air gives up heat
WPAC-M09K removes heat at a rated cooling capacity of 2.6 kW, returning cooled air to the room. Room air passes over a cold heat exchanger to release that heat.
Refrigerant carries the heat
Refrigerant carries heat to the hot heat exchanger, with a compressor driving the refrigeration cycle.
Hot air is exhausted outdoors
Air passing over the hot heat exchanger carries heat out through the exhaust duct, not back into the room.
Cooled air returns
A separate cooled airflow returns to the room. Sealing the window helps limit warm air entering from outside.
The resultCooling needs a correctly installed exhaust; without it, the hot air stays in the room.
For cooling, the exhaust hose must discharge hot air outdoors through a properly fitted window kit. Running without heat exhaust will not cool the room. Interior images are not installation diagrams.
Compare cooling output
The 2.6 kW figure describes heat removal, not electrical consumption. Also consider sun exposure, ceiling height and warm air entering through an unsealed window.
Manage the exhaust and condensate
Route the exhaust outdoors as instructed. Self-evaporation handles condensate, but draining may be needed in humid conditions; check for remaining water before moving the unit.
Getting started
Prepare the window and exhaust
Position the unit level, route the duct outdoors and seal the opening as instructed. Avoid sharp bends and keep the grilles clear.
Select cooling
Set the desired temperature and check the cooled airflow direction. Sunlight, warm surfaces and incoming outdoor air affect how quickly the room cools.
Check condensate
Watch the indicators and drain water when required by the manual. Switch off before draining or moving the unit.

Can I use WPAC-M09K for heating?
No. This is a cooling-only model with no heating mode.
Can it cool without the exhaust duct?
Room cooling requires heat to leave the room. Without a correctly installed exhaust duct, hot air returns to the room.
