How it works
From tank water to a fine mist
An ultrasonic transducer creates fine droplets without boiling the water.
Water reaches the transducer
The 3.2 L tank holds water for the MH-280 and supplies its mist-generating area.
Vibration creates mist
High-frequency vibration breaks water into fine droplets; this is not hot steam from boiling.
Mist enters the room
Droplets leave the unit and evaporate into the surrounding air, adding moisture.
Settings adjust delivery
Use the touch controls to select a humidity setting; the reading near the unit can differ from elsewhere in the room.
The resultHumidity gradually rises; reduce output if surfaces become damp or condensation appears.
Set it on the touch panel
A humidity setting gives the MH-280 more control than a simple mechanical mist dial. Use a separate hygrometer in the occupied area, away from the direct mist.
Refills and evening settings
The 3.2 L tank fills from the top. Choose the timer, sleep mode or night light to suit your routine, and always switch off before refilling.
